Alex Millard, a senior at Truman High School, took top honors this weekend at the annual Reagan Great Communicator Debates at the Truman Library. The competition is sponsored by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library and is designed to develop proactive, informed and educated citizens through a series of high school debates across the country.
Millard, who is coached by Historic Northeast resident Chris Adams, will travel to the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley this summer to compete against other finalists from across the country.
