Kenny Kieser speaks at the St. Joseph Museum

The St. Joseph Museum on Friday evening held a gala opening at the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion for its latest exhibit: ‘Confluence, The Great Flood of 1993’. Kenny Kieser, author of Missouri’s Great Flood of 1993, opened the exhibit with a brief talk on the flood and how it still affects those who live and work in the Missouri River valley today. The book is published by Kansas City’s Northeast News.
The historic flood was one of the costliest disasters in U.S. history, and as the 25th Anniversary draws near, the exhibit looks to commemorate the event. The exhibit runs through 2017.
