The Kansas City MO Police Department doesn’t want you to be taken by surprise this Tuesday as the St. Patrick’s Day Parade will close a number of Midtown streets including Broadway between 31st and 47th.

The parade begins at 11am but Broadway will be closed beginning at 9am. Linwood Boulevard will also be closed between Main and Pennsylvania as a parade staging area beginning at 8:15 am. All cars parked along these routes are asked to me moved no later than 4am on Tuesday March 17th.

Police suggest using ATA shuttle buses to and from the parade area along Broadway and Main between 31st and 47th to ease congestion in the area. Additional Police will be assigned to the Westport area after the parade to provide extra security.
