Friday evening just before 7pm, Kansas City, MO Police Officers responded to the area of St. John and White on a shooting call. Upon arrival they were flagged down to a residence. Upon entering the home they located the victim, fourteen year old Dadrien Alvarez suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

He was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. There is no person of interest or suspect information at this time and the circumstances leading up to the shooting are unknown. This is the city’s 175th homicide of the year.
