Not all were enthused about the City of Kansas City’s location choice for the new East Patrol Division and crime lab police campus.

City officials considered a number of factors when choosing the location between 26th Street on the north, 27th Street on the south, Brooklyn Avenue on the west and Prospect Avenue on the east.

Northeast News has obtained a detailed PDF document listing the properties city officials considered and how each location either met the requirements or failed to meet them. The document is color coded with green, red and yellow. Green means the location met a requirement, yellow means it’s a possibility, but there may be issues, and red is a deal breaker.
