This week’s Faces of Northeast are Carl and Brenda Daily, who celebrated 37 years of wedded bliss last month.

Brenda is a lifelong resident of Northeast and graduated from Northeast High School. After meeting and marrying Carl, it was only natural that they settled here and raised their family of three children. Two of those offspring also live in Northeast, along with most of their 8 grandchildren.

They’ve both also worked locally, with Carl at Profile Cabinet Co. on 12th Street for 25 years and Brenda, now retired, at Cosentino’s Apple Market and Price Chopper on Independence Avenue. Carl also works weekends for G4 Security.

Since her retirement, Brenda keeps busy at her sewing machine and likes to make gifts for family and friends, as well as volunteering at The Sewing Lab and Hope House.

“We like the people here,” Brenda said. “It’s home, and our block is quiet.”
