Join the Kansas City Museum, 3218 Gladstone Blvd., for its First Sunday Family Fun Day from noon to 4 p.m. Learn about the Gilded Age, which spanned from 1870 to 1900. Learn about Coca Cola, which was invented in 1886, and other items like zippers and rollercoasters, which were all invented during the Gilded Age.

Literacy KC Volunteer Orientation
Learn how to become a literacy tutor through Literacy Kansas City’s volunteer program that provides one-on-one tutoring to adults and older teens.
