Take a hard hat tour of Corinthian Hall, the more than 100-year-old home of lumber baron Robert A. Long and family. Kansas City Museum, 3218 Gladstone Blvd., will host the free tours at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Chamber after hours
Check out Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s after hours event from 4:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at UMB Bank, 6400 Independence Ave. Dinner will be provided, along with door prizes. Chamber and non-chamber members are welcome.

A musical benefit for the Fox 4 Love Fund for Children will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, at Finnegan’s Hall, 503 E. 18th Ave., North Kansas City, Mo. Doors open at 6 p.m. and entertainment begins at 7 p.m. In addition, there will be a cash bar, mini auction and dancing after the show. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and dancers.
