Joseph P. Corsentino, 81, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at NorthCare Hospice House. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd. The Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Joe was born June 9, 1929 in Kansas City, Mo., to Philip and Josephine (Giamalva) Corsentino. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter, Joanne Drummond. Survivors include his wife, Joan Corsentino; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Candy Corsentino; grandson, Christopher Drummond; uncle, Louis Giamalva; aunts, Pat Giamalva, Ann Giamalva; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim and Donna Sedlock, Marjorie Mattione; and many nieces and nephews.
