KANSAS CITY, Missouri – A three-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man were injured Friday night in a drive-by shooting in the Historic Northeast.
According to a press release from KCPD public information officer Darin Snapp, around 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, officers were called to a residence on the 300 block of Hardesty Avenue in regards to a shooting. Upon arrival, witnesses told police someone had drove by the residence, firing several rounds into the home.
Two people inside the home were shot; a three-year-old boy was hit in the midsection and a 22-year-old male shot in the finger. Both were transported to an area hospital. The young boy is currently listed in serious/stable condition. The 22-year-old male is listed in good condition.
