All trash and recycling services for Wednesday, Jan. 27 will be picked up Thursday instead due to tomorrow’s weather forecast.

Normal Thursday collection will be on Friday and Friday collection will be on Saturday, said John Baccala, spokesperson for the city’s Neighborhood and Housing Services Department. 

According to Baccala, if a resident had previously scheduled a bulky item pick-up this week, they may experience up to a three day delay, but should leave it on the curb and it will be picked up by this weekend.

The possible delay is caused by staff helping with plowing and salting the city streets.
