Police were called to the 3600 block of Sunrise Drive early Monday morning on a call regarding a cutting. However, when officers arrived, they discovered the victim had a severe stab wound to the neck. She was able to tell police her boyfriend had stabbed her, then fled with their child in her mother’s 2002 White Honda CRV.

The suspect is 24-year-old Eric Yeager, a 5’9,” 150-pound white male.

The vehicle was later located near 51st and North Corrington. An Amber Alert was issued for the son, 4-month-old John Michael Glorioso.

The child was found safe inside a residence close to where the vehicle was recovered. Police initiated an Operation 100 when it was learned the suspect was hiding inside a residence in the 5100 block of Crystal.

The standoff ended slightly before 1:30 p.m. and Yeager was taken into custody without incident. The victim is reported in critical condition.
