Kansas City’s Special Committee on Small Business will host another evening meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24.

The goal of the evening meetings is to provide another avenue for area businesses to voice input and concerns.

“The offsite meetings held by the Special Committee have yielded valuable insight from small businesses,” City Council member and Committee Chair Scott Taylor said. “We look forward to hearing from small businesses in the Northland as they express their concerns and suggest how we might improve.”

The Oct. 24 meeting will be held at Cascone’s Italian Restaurant, 3737 N. Oak Trafficway, Kansas City, Mo.

“The explosive growth of the Northland over the last several years has not only brought greater populations, but also a greater need for small businesses to provide services to them,” said Councilman Scott Wagner. “I hope that area businesses will take the opportunity to inform us as to how well the City is helping them grow and thrive in this part of our community.”
