Last weekend, the Kansas City Museum hosted roughly 50 community stakeholders for breakfast before the crowds watched as Kansas City Parks and Recreation employees removed the “Kansas City Museum of History and Science” sign from the front of the Kansas City Museum. The event, which was originally scheduled for earlier this summer but rescheduled due to rain, signified the forward progress the museum is making as it works to establish itself as a destination not just for the Northeast, but for Kansas City. But as one sign comes down, others have already started popping up. New wayfinding signs outside the museum have already been installed, with more potentially to come in the future.
