Police search for kidnapped 2-yr-old

UPDATE: Kansas City, Kan. Police found the vehicle Kansas City, Kan., and a few minutes later the victim was located a short distance away and she is safe. The search continues for the suspect at this time.

Kansas City Police (KCPD) are asking for the community’s help finding a kidnapped 2-year-old Black girl.

KCPD will be requesting an AMBER alert.

She was kidnapped at 5:40 p.m. while inside a vehicle that was stolen from the BP station at Linwood and Indiana.

The vehicle stolen is a White 2012 Ford Mustang TX license BCD3598.

The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black hat, red shirt with gold writing and black shorts.

The kidnapped child victim is Khalecia K Richards B/F 08-01-2019. She is wearing a yellow shirt, gray shorts, and white/green/black tennis shoes.

She was in a child seat inside the vehicle.
