On May 28, at 5:30 a.m., officers were called to the 3200 block of East 8th Street on a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim inside a vehicle suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to the hospital and listed in critical condition.
Detectives and Crime Scene Personnel responded to the scene. They collected evidence and detectives began their investigation at the scene. Detectives were notified the victim died on June 9 at the hospital.
The Medical Examiner’s Office has since ruled the death a homicide. The victim has been identified as Dale White, a 55-year-old white male.
