Around 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, police vehicles swarmed a car at St. John and Hardest avenues. They arrested the driver, a female, who reportedly fled the scene of a shooting.

Police confirm that the suspect was involved in a shooting in the 100 block of Bellaire that left two people with non-life threatening wounds.

Volunteers working at the Della Lamb Operation Holiday said the suspect’s car passed the center at 500 Woodland Ave. while being pursued by police.
