Kansas City’s Public Improvements Advisory Committee (PIAC) wants your input.
To garner feedback from residents regarding public improvements, PIAC will host a series of citywide neighborhood hearings in June through August.
PIAC will use the public input to make recommendations to the City Council regarding both the citywide and neighborhood portions of the Fiscal Year 2013-14 capital budget. Project funding comes from the one-cent sales tax for public improvements.
This week’s PIAC neighborhood hearings are scheduled in the Fifth District, and will take place on Tuesday, June 12, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the 3-Trails Community Improvement District, 5912 E. Bannister Road and on Thursday, June 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Southeast Community Center, 4201 E. 63rd St.
