On the hunt. Two-thousand plastic Easter eggs line The Concourse March 30 as part of the Scarritt Renaissance community Easter egg hunt. Approximately 75 children, along with family members, braved the chilly and dreary weather to gather at The Concourse. During the event, the Easter bunny made an appearance and there were prize giveaways. Leslie Collins
Easter fun. Youngsters from across Kansas City flock to the Scarritt Renaissance Easter Egg Hunt March 30 at The Concourse. All 2,000 plastic Easter eggs were filled with candy or a prize, and prize giveaways included Easter baskets and gift certificates to the Dairy Barn. Thanks to donations from attendees, the neighborhood raised $128 in 30 minutes to go toward installing a playground at The Concourse. The Easter bunny was also on hand, posing for pictures and giving plenty of hugs. Leslie Collins
