Principal Luis Arres –
 Guadalupe Centers Elementary School

On July 16, Guadalupe Centers Charter Schools announced Luis Arres as the principal of its elementary school. With over a decade of education leadership, Principal Arres has previously held roles at Kansas City Public Schools and Kansas City Kansas School District.

 “The heart of my mission is the advocacy for inclusive education, leveraging my fluency in Spanish and English to faucet an environment where every student thrives,” said Principal Arres. He aims to elevate teaching standards and study outcomes to cultivate academic excellence.  

Principal Uli Schneider – Gladstone Elementary

  Formerly the vice principal at Gladstone Elementary, Uli Schneider has over 30 years of experience in education. With dedication to continuous learning and professional development, Principal Schneider said she is passionate about enhancing the educational experience for  students and educators. Principal Schneider has previously specialized in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) instruction in the KCPS district. Originally from Berlin, Germany — Principal Schneider brings a global perspective to Gladstone Elementary’s administration.

Principal Allenda Wilson – Northeast Middle School 

Previously serving as  vice principal at Northeast Middle School, Principal Allenda Wilson said she is looking forward to the 2024-25 school year. 

“I plan to work hard to ensure that our students receive the best education possible at NEMS and that all students are treated with dignity and respect,” said Principal Wilson.

 Principal Wilson holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Trident University International. In her 25 years serving Kansas City Public Schools, Principal Wilson has worked at Southeast High School, Northeast High School, Central High School and Northeast Middle School. 

Principal Alisha Glover – Northeast High School

With over a decade of education experience, Principal Alisha Glover has previously served as a teacher, interventionist, College and Career director, instructional coach and vice principal.

 “I hope to make Northeast High School a place where not only students want to be but where teachers feel valued,” said Principal Glover.  In her various roles, Principal Glover has increased teacher retention, successfully designed and implemented professional development and leveraged data to ensure student success. Principal Glover said she is excited to be back in the HNE community. 

“I want to be in the northeast corridor as long as they’ll have me. I am invested in this community,” she said. Principal Glover believes in fostering a high-performance environment through a positive climate and culture, student voice and parent involvement.
