On this week’s episode of the Northeast Newscast, we were joined by Chandra Clark, Director of Community Outreach from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City. We discuss the organization’s impact on youth through preparing them for the future and the effect the program has on both mentors and their “littles.” Clark, a “big” herself, whose daughter also participated in the program, provides a unique perspective on Big Brothers Big Sisters’ life-changing influence on the lives of young people from low income and marginalized communities.
