A sure sign of spring is volunteers working in the PH Orchard at the intersection of Lexington and Montgall Avenues. On March 13, volunteers from the Pendleton Heights neighborhood were assisted by volunteers from nearby Jerusalem Farm and visiting students from Notre Dame University. Fruit trees were sprayed and a new metal sign was installed, which will also act as a bulletin board for the community. A celebration for the new sign is planned for April 26.
