Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce hosted its after-hours event at AJ’s Bar, 2618 Independence Ave. earlier this month.

In addition to a spread of appetizers and raffle drawings, the event also included a graffiti removal demonstration.

Don Evans, sales specialist with Glidden Professional, demonstrated the art of removing graffiti. Prior to the after-hours event, Evans spray painted the exterior brick of AJ’s, along with spray painting AJ’s metal sign. Other spray painted surfaces included a street sign, trash can and vehicle. Evans demonstrated several products which easily removed the graffiti. Photos by Leslie Collins
