This morning at approximately 2am, KCPD officers were dispatched to the area of Thompson and Monroe Avenues on a medical nature unknown call.

Upon arrival, officers located the body of an unresponsive adult male in the middle of the street.
He appeared to be suffering from head trauma.

Detectives are still investigating and are canvassing the area to determine what happened.
