On Saturday, August 12, Mattie Rhodes Center and Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) hosted a Northeast Summer Block Party at Concourse Park. Resources were available to families in attendance, along with food, activities, crafts and a bounce house. Kansas City Police Department officers working in the Community Engagement Division handed out more than 300 backpacks full of school supplies.
