Marcia Sue Baker, 73, of Kansas City, Mo., died Aug. 30, 2011. A memorial service was held at the Bethel Community of Christ Church, Kansas City, Kan. Marcia was born Aug. 29, 1938, in Kansas City, Mo., to Marion and Maude (Brooks) Wegener.

She was a member of the Community of Christ Church for 64 years and held the office of teacher. Marcia also prepared taxes for H & R Block for more than 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Survivors include her husband, William Bud O. Baker, Jr.; sons, William V. Baker and wife Kay, Brian Baker and wife Melanie; sister, Linda Conner and husband George; grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
