Dear Editor:
As a new member of the NEKC Chamber of Commerce, I attended the October 11 Historic Northeast Real Estate Exchange.  If the goal was to get people excited about the business and real estate opportunities in the Historic Northeast, the organizers hit it out of the park.  Not only did participants enjoy a tour of residential and commercial properties, we learned about existing businesses and  multiple new development projects.
Thanks to the Independence Avenue Community Improvement District and the NEKC Chamber for hosting such a terrific event.  The pride you take in the community is evident and, judging by the Real Estate Exchange, well-deserved.
