For a Fourth of July event that won’t break the budget, look no further than the KCRiverFest.

Since 2005, KCRiverFest has been recognized as Kansas City’s premier Independence Day Festival. Located on the Missouri Riverfront at Berkley Park, KCRiverFest is the only place in downtown Kansas City to celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks, food and family entertainment.

Festivities will include live music and other entertainment like Radio Disney, family-geared fitness demonstrations, a bird show and more. In addition, you can hop on a carnival ride or check out the craft and food vendors.

For the grand finale, Zambelli Fireworks will perform an elaborate, 20-minute fireworks display beginning at 10:05 p.m. on Festival Plaza overlooking the Missouri River.

KCRiverFest will be held from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Attendees can receive free admission from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Regular priced adult tickets are $5 at the gate or $4 online. Children ages 12 and under are admitted free of charge. To purchase tickets online, visit www.KCRiverFest.com.

Reserved paid parking is available on the grounds for the duration of the festival.  A continuously running free shuttle is available at the following locations:  3rd and Grand Avenue, 5th and Grand Avenue, 7th and Grand Avenue.
