Kansas City Public Schools is considering re-establishing its middle schools in 2014, and is inviting community feedback.
As part of the Middle School Project, several community meetings will be held this month, giving parents and community members an opportunity to learn more about KCPS’ plans and provide feedback.
Meeting attendees are invited to discuss possibilities for the project, including which grade levels will be served if middle schools are re-instated.
Each meeting will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Meeting dates and locations are:
• Thursday, March 7 – Trailwoods Elementary, 6201 E. 17th St.
• Tuesday, March 12 – Garfield Elementary, 436 Prospect Ave.
• Thursday, March 14 – Paige Elementary, 3301 E. 75th St.
