KCPD looking for teenage girl last seen in Northeast

UPDATE: Fareeda Kyaw has returned home.

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The Kansas City Police Department are asking for the public’s help searching for a teenage girl.

Police are looking for Fareeda Kyaw, 13, who was last seen around 7 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, near the intersection of Independence and Tracy Avenues. Kyaw is of Asian descent, stand at 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighs between 75 and 100 pounds. She has brown hair and eyes and was last seen wearing a navy shirt, khaki pants and a black jacket.
