KANSAS CITY, Missouri — The Kansas City Police Department’s Rural Crimes Investigation Unit is asking for the public’s help.
Between the afternoon of Monday, Dec. 28, and Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, two cows were shot and killed near I-435 and Cookingham Drive. One of the cows was mutilated. The two cows both had new calves, which are now orphaned due to the result of this crime and have to be bottle fed. Other mutilations of cattle have occurred in Kansas.
There is a $5,000.00 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of these suspect(s).
