The Kansas City Missouri City Council has voted to let the current mask mandate that expires at midnight tonight expire for adults but not for school age children.
The resolution which passed the City Council this afternoon keeps the mask mandate in place for students under the age of 18 in Kansas City, Missouri.
The resolution passed by an 11-2 margin with Councilmembers Hall and Ellington voting against.
The mandate only applies when students under 18 years of age are in school or on a bus.
