KC Crime Stoppers has partnered with The Kansas City’s Northeast News to help track local KC individuals on the Kansas City’s most wanted crime list.
KC Crime Stoppers encourages members of the community to assist local law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime by overcoming the two key elements that inhibit community involvement: fear and apathy.
“You just have to develop that communication, that trust and that back and forth and being able to feel safe doing it,” said Program Coordinator Detective Christina Ludwig.
“However, that just doesn’t really exist. Retaliation is real and that’s something that people have to think about their lives the lives of their families. So when it comes to submitting a tip, this way, they can follow their conscience and they don’t have to worry about being retaliated against.”
The KC Crime Stoppers Program provides the following safe and convenient ways to volunteer vital information helpful to Kansas City law enforcement agencies, enabling them to fight against crime and solve cases:
– (816) 474-TIPS (8477)
– KC Crime Stoppers website, KC.Crimestoppers.com
– Crime Stoppers P3 app,
