KANSAS CITY – Kansas City Firefighters responded around six this morning to a 2-alarm blaze in the 6700 block of Wilson Road, just west of the VFW post.

A defensive position was quickly assumed as small explosions from inside the building pushed firefighters outside.

The space is used by a trucking company as well as a deck supply company. Trucks were believed to be parked inside the building at the time of the fire.

Investigators remain on the scene to determine a cause. No injuries have been reported.
