Imagene Walker of Kansas City, Missouri, passed peacefully on August 5, 2023. She was born in Gilbert, Arkansas, on September 2, 1940, to Thomas and Cleo Daugherty. Both parents and one son, Dale E. Walker Jr., preceded her in death.
Imagene moved to Kansas City, Mo., at a young age. She graduated from Northeast High School, she worked for Saint Regis paper company. Imagene later worked for Sears and Roebuck. Her last employment was Dewco Marketing company, a company she owned with her husband, Dale E. Walker. Imagene worked with Dale on a neighborhood food program during COVID and they were awarded a resolution by the Missouri House of Representatives for their work in the Blue Valley Neighborhood Association.
Imagene’s favorite pastime was helping people. Imagene became a Christian prior to 1949.
Imagene leaves behind her husband Dale Walker Sr., one son Steven Craig Walker, and memories of her son Dale E. Walker, Jr. She also leaves behind a host of family and friends.
