Just after 8:30 p.m. on May 24, officers were dispatched to the area of the 700 block of Dittman after receiving a call in regards to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers were directed toward the side of the road where an adult male had been shot. The victim was unresponsive and EMS responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased upon arrival. 

As of now the preliminary information declared that some form of the altercation may have occurred prior to the shooting. As of now, there is no suspect information regarding the shooting. 

Detectives and crime scene personnel have responded to the scene and are actively canvassing witnesses and processing the scene for evidence.
