KANSAS CITY, Missouri — Motorists should anticipate a traffic pattern change involving Route 40 over the Blue River Bridge.
If you’ve diverted your travel off Highway 40 between Van Brunt Boulevard and Manchester Trafficway, your detour is going away this weekend. According to MoDOT Spokesman Markl Johnson, the Hwy. 40 bridge over the Blue River is set to re-open either late Friday evening or early Saturday morning.
The project coincides with the bridge construction project on I-70 over Manchester Trafficway, the Blue River and the rail yards. For more information about other MoDOT projects, please visit MoDOT’s website at www.modot.mo.gov/kansascity.
