A grant for the sign, as well as fencing and a new tractor, were part of the Missouri Department of Agriculture FY23 FOOD INSECURE URBAN AG MATCHING GRANT and Mid-America Regional Council Water Quality Education Committee grants. The interpretative piece, with the PH Orchard logo donated by Zahner, was revealed on Friday, April 26 and discusses all the ways the orchard helps with water runoff and general information about the orchard.
