Frank Baccala left to be with the Lord January 11, 2018, after years of heart-related health issues. He was 59. Frank was born July 21, 1958, the second of Nick and LaVonne Baccala’s three children. He was a proud graduate of Rockhurst High School (Class of 1976) and attended Creighton University.
Visitation will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (11822 Holmes Rd.) Friday, January 19 from 10 to 11:45 a.m., followed by Mass at noon and burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery (7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown).
Frank spent nearly 30 years in the automotive industry, selling cars and making friends! He worked for numerous dealerships and dealership groups across Kansas City including Major Cadillac and Major Infiniti, Jay Wolfe Acura and Jay Wolfe Nissan and McCarthy Nissan in Blue Springs.
Frank leaves behind three children, daughters Regina and Christina and son Nick, and the love of his life – his two-year-old granddaughter Antonella Grace. He also leaves behind his sister and brother-in-law Joe and Flo Sirna, brother John Baccala, niece JoMarie Dehoney, nephew Chris and great-nephew Christopher, niece Cinzia ‘Nikki’ Sirna and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Frank was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say and took great enjoyment in the last few years being an adult leader for B.S.A. Troop 80, based out of Holy Cross/Holy Rosary parish. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and always valued giving back to others.
Frank’s family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses in the Intensive Care Unit of St. Joseph Hospital for the care they gave him during his final days.
