Brian Duane Short, 57, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 5:28 am at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Brian was born June 20, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri, to parents Verlon Short and Barbara Hadler Gumm.

He was preceded in death by his father, Verlon Short and one brother.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Gumm, daughter Ariana Gumm, brother Duane Gumm, sister Carol Gumm and his girlfriend Janetta Howell.

A memorial service for Brian will be held at the picnic shelter at Blue Valley Park at 23rd and Topping on Saturday, February 10th at 2pm.
