KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Another Kansas City, Kan., man has been charged in the March 10 homicide of Cliet Weibel, 75, of northeast Kansas City, Mo.
In a press release, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced Kelon A. Stallings has been charged with second-degree murder, armed criminal action, first-degree burglary and stealing a controlled substance. Prosecutors have requested bond be set at $250,000.
According to court records, evidence and the statements of co-defendants, Stallings was among at least four people who planned or took part in a robbery that resulted in the murder of Weibel.
