Ask Skeet Morgan what his favorite thing about working in the Historic Northeast community and he boils it down to a single point: people.

“I love just meeting the different people,” he said. “Different cultures, the different nationalities, Northeast has it all.”

Skeet has been the head meat cutter at Snyder’s Supermarket at 2620 Independence Boulevard for roughly three years. 

Prior to coming to Snyder’s, he was with the Plaza Apple Market. All told, he’s been cutting meat for over 40 years.

“My job is to make people happy,” he said. “Custom cuts, extra aging, I just love my job and the customers I get to interact with every day.”
