Elizabeth Anne Stivers, 31, daughter of Timothy O. and Mary Ellen (Bryant) Stivers, was born in Kansas City, MO Nov. 25, 1991. She departed this life all too soon, on March 14, 2023 at. Liz graduated from Overland Christian Schools with the class of 2011. She had worked tirelessly to rescue, care for and save many abandoned animals at the KC Paws Rescue Center. She couldn’t resist cuddling all animals and just had a way of calming even terrified ones quickly. She had a big heart and cared about all people she encountered. She was a “people person” and never knew a stranger and had a heartfelt and infectious laugh. She always made sure family and friends knew they were loved and appreciated. Survivors include her mother Mary Ellen (Bryant) Stivers, brother Randell Harris, grandmother Mary K. Bryant and grandparents Charles and Margaret Stivers.

Funeral Services begin at 12 noon, Fri. Mar. 24, 2023 at Hill & Son Funeral Home, Appleton City, MO (660-476-2135). Visitation will precede the service from 11 am – 12 noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Appleton City Cemetery. Memorial donations are to the Family Love Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
