Eleos Coffee House will offer more than coffee and sandwiches Friday, Jan. 27.

Acoustic rhythms will fill the air beginning at 7 p.m., compliments of local guitarist Lester Estelle, Sr.

Estelle began playing the guitar as a youngster, holding the instrument upside down. Since then, he’s learned the correct way to play and has shared his message while performing in prisons, coffee houses and other venues throughout the Kansas City area. In addition to sharing the stage with southern gospel singer Lynda Randle, he’s also performed at Gaither Homecoming concerts. He continues to serve as the worship team leader at Indian Creek Community Church, Olathe, Kan.

Estelle has produced six instrumental CDs, offering an acoustic and jazz flavor.

All are welcome to check out the live music this Friday at Eleos, 3401 Independence Ave., Kansas City, Mo.
