Friday, October 6 – Join us for the Carl J. DiCapo Italian Heritage Festival from 6-10 p.m. to kick off Italian-American Heritage Month! At 901 E. 19th Street, we’ll have traditional Italian music including the Gumbas, Frank Vigliatruo, Vince Scola, Julia Scozzafava, and Jammin’ Jan & the Gratitudes. Delicious food, including Italian Gardens Pizza, Scimeca’s Italian sausage, chicken spiedini, pasta with meatballs, and Italian cookies. We will have a 50/50 cash raffle. Admission and parking are free. All proceeds go to The Salvation Army.

Starting and finishing at The Colonnade on the Concourse, passing The Kansas City Museum, historic homes, the waterfall on the bluffs, and traversing along historic Cliff Drive, the only state-designated scenic byway in an urban area.
