City Market’s Farm to Table Celebration Series will kick off with Flower Power this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The City Market Square, 20 E. 5th Street, will be in full bloom with a wide array of colorful bedding plants, hanging baskets, flowering shrubs, perennials and annuals. In addition, there will be vegetable plants, herbs, ground cover, unique landscape decorations and more!
Kids’ activities will take place in the Oddball Kids area from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Youngsters will create hand-painted Mother’s Day cards, plant flower seeds and create flower-centric chalk art. Also, stop by the Information Booth for a seed packet give-a-way while supplies last.
Other activities will include a Friends of the Library of the Kansas City Public Library Used Book Sale, a Harvesters donation drop-off and of course, shopping.
Farm to Table Celebrations take place the first Saturday of the month from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
