The City of Kansas City, Mo., is reminding area businesses that the Special Committee on Small Business will hold a meeting on Thursday, June 30 at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, 26th floor of City Hall, 414 E. 12th St.

Businesses interested in attending may park at the George E. Wolf Parking Garage at Oak and 11th streets and enter City Hall through its west side entrance on Oak Street. Parking will be validated.

The Special Committee on Small Business is a new mayor-appointed committee focused on streamlining city services related to doing business in Kansas City, Mo. While the committee generally meets on Thursdays at noon, they are offering a special evening meeting on June 30. This will allow businesses that would normally be unable to attend at noon the opportunity to attend a committee session.

To be further inclusive of all businesses, particularly small businesses, a webpage is currently in development that will allow anonymous comments from businesses that do not wish to testify during a meeting.

The committee includes city council members Scott Taylor,  Scott Wagner,  Jermaine Reed and  Cindy Circo.
