Ruth Ann Herron

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Ruth Ann Herron, 64, passed away June 9, 2014 at the home.

Ruth was born in Kansas City, Mo., Jan. 29, 1950, to Melvin and Maudie Sidebottom. She was joined in marriage in the 1960’s to Howard Herron. She lived in Kansas City all of her life. Ruth attended East High School. She was a housewife for over 20 years, while at the time being part of her husband’s tow company, H&R Tow, for over 20 years. before going to work for Rothenburg and Schloss and the Salvation Army for many years.

Ruth was full of life and was friendly to all, was “mom” to a lot of kids, and loved being around family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to fish, was always at the lake most of her life. Her sense of humor and smile will sadly be missed by everyone who knew her.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Valeri Herron, and her beloved husband of over 30 years. She leave behind a daughter, Jeanette Herron-Hicks of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren, Matthew Rich, Michael Rich and Madison Hicks, all of Kansas City, Mo., and many more relatives and friends.

A Celebration Of Life for Ruth is planned for July 12, 2014, at Lake Jacomo, Shelter House one at 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. Dress is casual. Come celebrate this amazing lady’s life.

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri – Nora Randall, 74, of Independence, Mo., died Sunday, June,15, 2014.

Nora was born Nov. 11, 1939, to Mabel and George Lamb. She was one of six children. She grew up in Boner Springs, Kan., and moved to Kansas City, Mo., as a teenager. Nora married three times and had six children. She was a stay at home mom and homemaker. She loved going to the boats, watching her favorite television shows, Facebook and most of all her family. Family was most important to her, if you knew Nora, then you knew you had a friend for life.

She is survived by Bernice Burton; son Dale White; friend Robert Kerr; daughter Maurine Leabo of the Northeast; daughter Christina Elkins of Lansing, Kan.; son William Brimer of Independence, Mo.; adopted daughters, Corina Trantole and Mary Fuhrmann; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and lots of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mabel and George Lamb; her brothers, George, Robert, Larry, James, and sister Georgette Lamb; her husbands Sterling White,Victor Brimer, and Dean Randall; her son Allen White.
