Judith Ann Drummond, 65, passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Beautiful Savior Nursing Home in Belton, Mo.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Beautiful Savior Nursing Home, 1003 S. Cedar, Belton, Mo., with a “fellowship” reception immediately following. Judy was born Jan. 15, 1947, in Kansas City, Mo., to Marvin and Fern (Stevens) Mayo. She was a lifelong Northeast Kansas City resident and a 50-plus year member of the Budd Park Christian Church where she was involved in their handbell choir. Judy worked for many years as a processor for the Social Security Administration. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, David Drummond. Carol Mae Persinger, 68, of Independence, Mo., passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Centerpoint Medical Center. Arrangements are by Suburban Chapel, Independence, Mo. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday Aug. 25, 2012, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
