Betty Jean Tebo

Betty Jean Tebo, 78, Northeast Kansas City, Mo., passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at her home. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, Sept. 18, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, Kansas City, Mo. Burial followed in Mt. Washington Cemetery.

Betty was born Dec. 15, 1934, in Winnebago, Neb. She was preceded in death by her husband Ona Tebo and her son, Michael Tebo.

Survivors include her children, Debra Sprofera and husband Pete, Rick Tebo, and Joyce Eye; grandchildren, Krystle Nicole Eye, Ashley Blaire Tebo, Gary Eye; great-grandsons, Mason Kendall and Jose Ake; sisters, Joyce Whitted of Lompoc, Calif., Verna Whipple, Sylvia Whipple; brother, Leslie Whipple of St. Paul, Minn.; and sister-in-law, Minnie Stilen of Omaha, Neb.
